Coastwide Civil is a family-run civil engineering and marine construction company that has spanned three generations and established itself been a trusted industry leader since our inception in 1975. 


Headquartered in Albion Park Rail (Wollongong), our unwavering commitment to professionalism allows us to provide the highest standard of service to our clients across Australia as well as internationally – delivering projects in excess of $200 million. Our dedicated team of experts ensures the timely and budget-conscious completion of tier-1 projects across a range of national industry sectors.


In the years since, we have grown and diversified to specialising in civil, marine, earthworks, roadworks, quarrying, transportation, and machine hire, catering to the ever-evolving needs of the Australian civil construction and engineering industry.

As a registered contractor with NSW Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) since 1999, we’ve been recognised as a preferred provider of leading civil and commercial construction projects in New South Wales as well as in other Australian states for over 25 years. Always foregrounding innovation in construction industry works, we were among the first to implement GPS peg-less survey and machine control for earthworks and underwater construction, as well as pioneering the use of PCF explosives for Australian work sites for the clearing and remediation of friable asbestos waste.


We always make sure our equipment and work capabilities are at the forefront of technology, which is why our fleet is equipped with GPS and sonar systems to optimise rock placement and dredging operations. Our continuous investment in state-of-the-art equipment ensures optimal performance and reliability on-site, adhering to quarry specifications. 


We hold accreditations to ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems), AS/NZS 4801 (OH&S Management Systems), and ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems). Past project works

Our professional contractors have been involved with some of Australia’s biggest and most prestigious civil projects, including major roadworks in Queensland and New South Wales, as well as undertaking major works for government agencies. Coastwide Civil has also operated internationally, winning the tender for works carried out on Lihir Island in Papua New Guinea.
