Civil plant and equipment capabilities
At Coastwide Civil, our extensive array of plant and equipment plays a pivotal role in our major civil operations. Our diverse fleet includes earthmoving machinery, heavy haulage vehicles, rock processing units, and much more ensuring that we can provide top-quality project delivery.
With the addition of state-of-the-art GPS technology to enhance site precision and efficiency, as well as our consistent equipment upkeep done at our registered workshop in Albion Park, we guarantee optimal performance on-site with all of our machine options.
Earthmoving capability
We have an impressive lineup of excavators that make-up our earthmoving fleet and includes Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi models. Ranging from 3 to 150 tonnes, these machines can cater to a range of project scales and capabilities.
We also have long-reach excavators (from 30 to 150 tonnes) that are specially designed for major civil and marine construction uses, as well as modern dozers like the standard D6 swamp and D10 Caterpillar machines. Our fleet also encompasses Caterpillar Bobcats and backhoes that are ideal for manoeuvring in less accessible areas, as well as front-end loaders that are equipped with onboard digital weighing capabilities.
Compaction and grading
Coastwide Civil is equipped with a range of modern CAT, Dynapac, and WCM compactors, rollers, and remote trench compactors that are suitable for large-scale road construction and subdivision works. Our graders, including Caterpillar 12M and 140M models, are outfitted with fully integrated 3D millimetre control systems to ensure ultra-precise grading.
Our dump truck fleet comprises Volvo, Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Terex trucks that range from 25 to 60 tonnes, while our advanced water carts offer capacities between 12,000L to 30,000L. We've also recently welcomed the Liebherr LR 1280 crawler crane which is capable of lifting up to 280 metric tonnes.
Rock processing, screening, and tromelling
Our selection of screening plant features rock processing units that includes our rotary trommel, capable of sizing rocks from 50mm to 900mm. Our mobile jaw crushers handle both on-site and static rock crushing services from 900mm down to 75mm, and our screens range from 300mm to 5mm.
Surveying technology
Coastwide Civil provides cutting-edge technology surveying equipment as part of our surveying and mapping services. Our fleet of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are suitable for projects of all scales, enabling us to conduct precise aerial surveys and capture vital data and insights for informed decision-making.
Transportation and haulage
Our transport division encompasses a diverse fleet of heavy haulage and bulk haulage equipment that cater to a wide variety of haulage requirements, including heavy-duty prime movers and low loaders, specialised B-double side tippers, Bisalloy Semi-tippers, truck and dog combinations, and 5-tonne tippers.
